The Epiphany Faith and Works Ministry is sponsoring a food-packing event at Midwest Food Bank on Monday, September 30th, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Midwest Food Bank is located at 2031 Warehouse Road in Normal.
We are looking for 25 volunteers from our parish to help sort and/or pack bulk food items, most of these volunteer roles do not involve heavy lifting. Volunteers must be age 5 or older. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is a fun opportunity to help feed the hungry, learn more about Midwest Food Bank, and meet your fellow parishioners.
Please arrive at 5:45 pm to sign in. The attire should include comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes. Everyone attending, including children, must register for this event at the Midwest Food Bank Volunteer site using the button below.
