Eucharistic Adoration

Epiphany Parish is blessed to have our St. John Paul II Adoration Chapel.  The chapel was inaugurated on Easter morning, April 16, 2006.  Adorers pray before the Blessed Sacrament 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

Adoration is a continuation in time of the moment of elevation at Mass, when the priest shows the consecrated host to the people, who pause momentarily in adoration.  By adoring the Eucharist we are reminded in a very tangible way of God's love for humanity and his promise to mankind:  "Behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age" Mt 28:20.  

There is no fixed way to spend the hour.  You can sit quietly, do a spiritual reading (there is a wall of books to choose from!), journal, gaze, listen to a Catholic podcast, or say a Rosary.  Think about this time as spending time with a good friend.  How can your relationship be strengthened if you don't spend time together in the same room, both listening and talking?

Email or call the Adoration Coordinator to inquire about the open hours in need of a permanent adorer or to be added to the substitute list.  Open hours are also listed on a sign outside the chapel as well as in the bulletin. 

The chapel is located just inside the church front doors on the right.   All are welcome - parishioners and visitors alike.   Come any day, any time.  A code, needed to enter for security reasons, can be obtained through the Parish Office.
